So what is Hypnosis?
Well simply put Hypnosis is a very familiar and a very welcomed feeling. Most refer to it as an "altered state" of mind. Unfortunately this can be easily misunderstood. So let's keep it simple because Hypnosis is simple!!!
Feeling relaxed is one of the most common words used to describe the hypnotic experience, however, it's important to note that you do not need to be physically relaxed in order to enter into and remain within the confines of hypnosis.
The most accurate definition of hypnosis:
Hypnosis is simply an internalized focus. So in simplest terms whenever you go within yourself and focus on a particular object or experience, you are really experiencing a hypnotic state for yourself.
You will find many have describe hypnosis as:
A bypassing of the critical factors of your mind.
What this means to you is your subconscious mind allows you to reframe or implement new positive imprints/beliefs in order to create a new positive reality. Because you are bypassing the critical area of the mind you then begin to access your subconscious mind directly, which is ultimately what's needed in order to maximize the potential for the suggestions offered to the hypnotized person.
So as a reminder now, the subconscious mind is the part of our mind that creates our reality. It has up to this point created everything you experience or have experienced in your life such as; your house, your job, your car, your clothes, your friends, etc...
Our subconscious mind is the storehouse for our beliefs, memories and desires. So it makes sense that if you want to make any changes to these things you must access the part of you that stores these behaviors and/ or traits in order to reframe them.
The subconscious is the part of you that allows you to accomplish those miraculous feats we've all heard about. You know those incredible stories that show us just a tiny glimpse at how powerful the human mind is, and what it truly is capable of. Things like being able to remove a limb just to survive
The subconscious is truly the most powerful factor within each and every human being (mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually)
*Important note - With all that being said understand that in order to maximize your full potential you must not only work with the subconscious mind, but you must work with the conscious mind in conjunction with the subconscious.
